THE MYTH of FREE SHIPPING:

Amazon has completely changed the way we view shopping online. By charging $139 a year for Prime Membership, they separate the ‘pain’ of shipping costs from the shopping experience. Consumers highly value fast and reliable shipping but mega-retailers mislead us into believing that shipping is not something we should have to pay for, so we expect this perk.

There is no such thing as free shipping!

If you mail packages from the Post Office you might be aware that rates increase twice a year typically. Due to economies of scale, mega-retailers get far reduced shipping rates compared to mom and pop businesses. 

Alpenglow is transparent in all of our pricing and we keep our product and shipping costs as low as possible. We lose between $5 - $15 per order by not charging the full shipping cost we pay to ship your boxes to you. The below costs are real, not hidden as a 'membership'.

We are able to process and ship most orders within 1-2 business days.

We ship via US Postal Service PRIORITY MAIL which normally takes between 3-6 business days to arrive Outside of Alaska (the other 49 states) or 2-4 days in Alaska.

Allow more time for shipping during the holiday season.

Order $0 - $50                   =  $ 9  postage
Order $50.01 - $99.99       =  $ 11 postage
Order $100 or more           =  $ 12 postage

LOWER 48 UNITED STATES & HAWAII:

 Order $25 or less            =  $ 12.00 postage
 Order $25.01 - $50         =  $ 13.50 postage
 Order $50.01 - $99.99    =  $ 16.00 postage
 Order $100 or more        =  $ 18.50 postage                                                                     

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Please email a list of the products and quantities you would like to order providing your exact shipping address and phone number. After we determine the USPS Shipping Rates to your country, we will email you a payment request. 

SHIPPING TURNAROUND

Customers love that we are able to ship most orders in 1-2 business days. Occasionally we are not able to ship your order immediately. Sometimes we are out of town for several days and we usually spend 2 or 3 weeks visiting family or traveling someplace warm in the winter. Our home page posts the expected day we will be able to ship your order if you order while we are out of town. We apologize for the inconvenience and we really appreciate your patience.
